Holston Gases and SoCon extend partnership

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced Monday its sponsorship extension agreement with Holston Gases, which serves as the title sponsor for the league’s baseball tournament. The Holston Gases Southern Conference Baseball Championship will be played May 20-25 at Fluor Field in Greenville, South Carolina.

The deal continues an affiliation between the SoCon and Holston Gases, which dates back to 2017.

In addition to being the conference’s title baseball tournament sponsor, Holston Gases will now be the title sponsor of the SoCon’s weekly baseball players of the week. Holston Gases will also be incorporated into promotion at the league’s volleyball and basketball tournaments.

Holston Gases supplies industrial, medical, propane and beverage gases. Founded in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1958, the company now boasts 42 locations in six states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
