About the Championships
The 2010 Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Saturday, April 24th and Sunday, April 25th. Appalachian State University will host the meet in Boone, NC. This will be the 86th Annual Outdoor Track and Field Championship for the men and the 24th for the women.
The championships will begin on Saturday, April 24th at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, NC. The top men's and women's teams will be the 2010 Outdoor Track and Field Southern Conference Champions. The top eight individuals in each event score, while the top 3 individuals in each event will be awarded All-conference honors.
At last year's championship is Statesboro, Georgia, the Western Carolina men and Appalachian State Women claimed the conference titles. This was the 16th overall conference title for the Appalachian women program history, and the 4th title for the Western Carolina's men's program, all of which have been in the past decade.
