New Mexico State Gets Past UNCG Baseball in Tuesday Matinee
The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball was handed a 9-6 loss by the New Mexico State (NMSU) Aggies in a Tuesday matinee at UNCG Baseball Stadium. The Aggies scored the first run during the top of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead. After Tommy Meluskey was hit by a pitch with one out, he advanced to second on a groundout and then scored on a bloop single into shallow center.

Samford Bulldogs Fall At Mississippi State
The Samford University baseball team dropped a 6-1 decision at Mississippi State Tuesday evening at Dudy-Noble Field. With the loss, Samford fell to 13-12 on the season. Mississippi State improved its record to 16-9 with the win. For Samford in the loss, Jake Souders drove in the team's lone run. Jeffrey Ince, Jackson Harris, Trey Higgins, Hayden Perry and Michael Gupton had one hit each for the Bulldogs.
