The Citadel Bulldogs Overcome Deficit Against the Eagles; Anderson Homers

VMI scores 26 runs in dominating win over Norfolk State
VMI Baseball put the pedal to the metal in its road outing against Norfolk State, scoring 26 runs in a dominating victory on Wednesday at Marty L. Miller Field. For the second-straight game, the Keydets (19-11, 3-3 SoCon) slugged their way to another run-rule triumph, this time a 26-6 final over the Spartans in seven innings. VMI's 26 runs and 17 hits are the most this season, with 26 runs being the most in a single game since 2002. This marks the ninth time the Keydets have run-ruled their opponent in 2025. During its three-game winning streak, VMI has outscored its opponents, 51-18, and has collected 43 hits.
