Wofford Baseball Secures Series with 7-6 Walk-Off Win Over Elon
Down by five runs early, the Wofford baseball team remained resilient and fought back, chipping away until eventually James Layman played hero with a walk-off two-run double for a 7-6 victory Sunday afternoon at Russell C. King Field. With the win over Elon, the Terriers improve to 14-6 as the Phoenix drop to 8-11.

Samford Bulldogs Pound Out 13-1 Win To Complete Sweep Of Evansville
The Samford University baseball team earned an impressive 13-1 win in seven innings to complete the Bulldogs' sweep of Evansville Sunday afternoon at Joe Lee Griffin Field. With the win, Samford improved its season record to 12-8. Evansville fell to 5-14 with the loss. Mason Blache (2-0) pitched 5.0 innings, giving up just one unearned run on four hits and striking out five batters to earn the win on the mound for Samford. John MaloneCullen Horowicz and Joseph Lee split the rest of the game without allowing a hit

Bears Use Dominant Pitching, Timely Hitting To Take Series Over Tennessee Tech
Mercer pitchers limited Tennessee Tech to three hits and the offense used timely hitting to help the Bears take Sunday's rubber match over the Golden Eagles by a score of 6-3. Five different Bears drove in runs, while Titan Kamaka (2-for-4), Brant Baughcum (2-for-4) and Ely Brown (2-for-4) had multi-hit days to power Mercer at the plate. Six members of the pitching staff took the mound, striking out 13 and allowing just two earned runs. Cade Cosper (2-0) earned the win with two shutout frames and Terry Busse notched his fifth save of the season by retiring all six hitters he faced. Lawson Stricklin (0-1) took the loss for Tennessee Tech. 

VMI falls in back-and-forth battle with Yale
VMI Baseball went toe-to-toe with Yale on Sunday, but ended the day with a challenging loss at George H.W. Bush Field. The Keydets (13-7) were swept by the Bulldogs after suffering a 6-5 walk-off defeat in the series finale. This is the first series loss of the season for VMI.
