Samford Baseball Powers Past Wofford For 14-0 Game One Win
The Samford University baseball team jumped out to an early lead and never looked back on its way to a 14-0, seven-inning win over Wofford in the first game of a three-game Southern Conference series Friday evening at King Field. With the win, Samford improved its record to 15-15 overall and 2-2 in Southern Conference play. Wofford dropped its record to 21-10 overall and 2-2 in league play.

Bucs roll past UNCG, 17-3
The ETSU baseball team rolled past UNC Greensboro by a score of 17-3 in seven innings on Friday evening from Thomas Stadium. Friday's win boosts ETSU's record to 22-7 overall and 3-1 in conference action. Every Buccaneer that started Friday's matchup played a part in the 17-run outburst. All nine ETSU players in the starting lineup scored at least one run and eight of the nine picked up at least one hit. ETSU's top two home run hitters added to their respective totals on Friday.

Bears Blast Six Home Runs To Take Down VMI|
The Mercer baseball team used six home runs to put up their highest offensive output since 2023 on Friday, taking down VMI by a score of 22-2. The 20-run victory was the Bears' largest margin of victory since a 22-0 win over Saint Peter's on March 13, 2022, while the six-homer day was the highest single-game total for the Bears since February 26, 2022.

Keydets start series with loss to Bears
VMI Baseball had a tough loss to Mercer Friday afternoon at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium to begin the Southern Conference series. The Keydets (19-12, 3-4 SoCon) drop the series opener to the Bears, 22-2, in seven innings. Due to potential rainy weather on Sunday, VMI-Mercer will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with game one starting at Noon and game two following.

The Citadel had seven runs on nine hits. Two Bulldogs recorded a multi-hit day, including Aryan Patel going 3-for-3 at the plate. His second straight three-hit game in a row. Patel posted two doubles and drove in a run. Travis Elliott recorded two hits and posted an RBI. Phillips Daniels led the Bulldogs with two RBIs. Andrew Stanley (2-2) recorded a dominant start for The Citadel after throwing 6.0 innings with a career-high 11 strikeouts on four hits. Stanley's 11 strikeouts are the most since 2017 when JP Sears struck out 20. CJ Van Slooten (S, 1) posted his first save of the season after throwing the final three innings, allowing three hits on zero earned runs. Ty McKinstry (1-6) received the loss after throwing 5.0 innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits.
