Tuesday's men's basketball roundup

No. 1 Tennessee 84, Western Carolina 36

Western Carolina jumped out to an early lead thanks to sharp shooting from the perimeter, holding the advantage over the opening five minutes of regulation on Tuesday night at top-ranked Tennessee. However, the home-standing Volunteers turned up the intensity at both ends of the court to close the opening half strong to remain unbeaten on the season with an 84-36 victory at Thompson-Boling Arena.

UNCG 86, William Peace 37

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team secured an 86-37 victory over NCAA Division III foe William Peace on Tuesday night in Fleming Gymnasium. This was an exhibition game for the Pacers.
Four Spartans scored double figures, including Donovan Atwell who led the game with 14 points. Kenyon Giles was second with 13 points, while Demetrius Davis had 12 points and Akrum Ahemed had 11 points.
