Monday's men's basketball roundup

Central Arkansas 73, The Citadel 71

The Citadel basketball made 16 3-pointers and held the University of Central Arkansas to just 26 points in the second half, but its last-second shot attempt didn't go down as the Bulldogs lost a tightly-contested affair, 73-71.
The Citadel was 11-of-20 (55%) from beyond the arc in the first half alone, tying a season-high for made threes in a game.

College of Charleston 77, Wofford 67

The Wofford men's basketball team (4-7) had it all knotted up a 34-all coming out of the break, but a sluggish start to the second stanza proved too much to overcome in a 77-67 loss at TD Arena on Monday night. This was the first meeting between the teams since 2014 when Charleston (8-2) was a member of the Southern Conference.
