Chattanooga 85, Alabama A&M 63

The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team went wire-to-wire behind an impressive shooting display to claim an 85-63 victory over Alabama A&M in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon inside McKenzie Arena.
 
Chattanooga (7-4) saw its offensive effort set season bests in threes made (14) and field goal percentage (51.0%, 25-49) during the win over Alabama A&M (4-6). The two teams were tied just once early (3-3) before UTC claimed and held the lead over the final 38:23 of action.

Mercer 75, Chicago State 63

Ahmad Robinson scored 25 points to lead all scorers as the Mercer Bears led Chicago State nearly wire-to-wire in a 75-63 win over the Cougars Sunday afternoon from Hawkins Arena.
The Bears were in control of the game most of the way, leading for more than 36 minutes of game action, but Chicago State wouldn't go away as the Bears never led by more than 12 points at any point in the game. Mercer shot 29-of-66 (44%) from the field and Chicago State went 24-of-65 (37%) from the field. A big difference in the game was points in the paint which Mercer held a 46-26 advantage in.
