Holloway's season-high 24 points lead Samford past VMI

Samford defeated VMI, 95-83, at Cameron Hall on Thursday evening. The Bulldogs got out to a 45-38 lead by halftime, and then came out and outscored the Keydets again in the second half to come away with the victory.

Collin Holloway was an efficient machine, contributing 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field to lead the way for Samford.

The Keydets' offense was impressive despite the result. Tan Yildizoglu led the charge, tallying 23 points.

Chattanooga wins yet another SoCon game, this time over UNC Greensboro

Chattanooga earned an impressive SoCon win on Thursday evening, taking down UNC Greensboro by a score of 75-63. The victory gave the Mocs their first regular season title since 2022.

The Mocs got out to a 34-31 lead by halftime, and then came out and outscored the Spartans again in the second half to come away with the victory.

Bash Wieland was efficient for the Mocs, contributing 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field to lead the way for Chattanooga.

Ronald Polite III scored 17 points while dishing out five assists to lead the way for UNC Greensboro.
