It was a different course in a different city, but Yannick Malik was the same as he was two weeks ago at Bulls Bay. 

The junior fired a 4-under 68 and a 2-under 70 to sit fifth after the first two rounds of the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills. Gavin Tiernan likewise followed up on a strong finish two weeks ago with a pair of 1-under 71 rounds to sit in a tie for ninth with 18 holes left to play.
