Bears Finish Stitch Intercollegiate

After day one was filled with rain delays, the Mercer men's golf team completed the final 27 holes of the Stitch Intercollegiate on Saturday, finishing 11th as a team.
Cole Hanson and Nathan Trodd turned in the low scores for the Bears, tying for 14th at two-over. Hanson carded a three-over 68 in round two for the team's lowest round of the event. 

Wofford Places Fifth in Stitch Intercollegiate

The Wofford men's golf team earned a fifth-place result in North Carolina State's Stitch Intercollegiate, using a 1-under final round to score 867 at the par-71 Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Will Jones led the Terriers at even par to secure a career-best sixth-place result.

Korytoski Tied for Fourth, WCU Tied for Sixth at Rutherford

Western Carolina's Andrew Korytoski posted his best rounds of the spring semester on Saturday, shooting 1-under par 70 and even-par 71 for a 36-hole tally of 141 to lead the Catamounts in a four-way tie for fourth place entering Sunday's final round at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, being contested at the par-71, 7,130-yard Blue Course at the Penn State Golf Course.

UNCG Earns Second Place Finish at Stitch Intercollegiate

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team earned a second-place finish at the Stitch Intercollegiate on Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina, at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.

TEAM

• UNCG carded rounds of 285-290-281 over the two-day tournament for the second-place finish and an overall score of four-over-par (856).
• Lipscomb finished atop the 13-team leaderboard behind a one-over-par (853).
• The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Wofford earned fifth place with a 15-over-par (867), while Mercer finished in 11th with an overall score of 31-over-par (883).
• The Spartans paced all teams with a 4.12 average on par fours and a 4.90 average on par fives.
• UNCG finished second in the field with 181 total pars.
