Wofford 3, Gardner-Webb 2

The Wofford men's soccer team had its first full game since September 17 Saturday afternoon, defeating Gardner-Webb 3-2 with an explosive first half at Snyder Field. With the win, the Terriers improve to 4-2-1, and the Runnin' Bulldogs drop to 5-2-1. 

Mercer 1, UNCG 1

Mercer's Barzee Blama delivered a highlight-reel bicycle kick goal in the 21st minute, but #21 UNC Greensboro was able to equalize late in the second half to end Saturday night's SoCon opener in a 1-1 draw.  

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team­­ opened The Southern Conference (SoCon) play with a 1-1 draw at Mercer on Saturday night at Betts Stadium. Senior midfielder Jack Birch scored the game-tying goal for the Spartans in the 83rd minute.
