About the Championship

The 2010 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship took place on Friday, November 12th and Sunday, November 14th. This was the 23rd Annual Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship. The Quarterfinals were hosted by the top four seeds which will determined who advanced to the Semifinals/Final in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The Semifinal matches will took place on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Championship match took place on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. The winner of the Men's Soccer Championship, UNCG, received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

The 2009 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship was a duel between Wofford College and Elon University. After a scoreless first half, Wofford was able to put two goals on the board and hold off Elon late in the game to claim their first ever Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship by a score of 2-1 in front of a home crowd of 1,014 in Spartanburg, S.C.
