Christian Kraus and Ivan Agyaakwah netted second half goals as Furman rallied past Winthrop, 2-1, to claim its first victory of the season Sunday evening in Rock Hill, S.C. The win improved the Paladins to 1-0-1 on the season while Winthrop slipped to 0-2-0.The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team won 1-0 over Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in non-conference action on Sunday night at the UNCG Soccer Stadium. Of Mercer's 11 shots, five were on target, whereas South Florida was unable to put a shot on goal. The Bears earned six corner kicks on the evening, including five in the first half. USF's lone corner kick came in the second half.The Bucs, who had never lost to USC Upstate in their eight prior meetings, suffered a 2-0 setback to the Spartans on the road from County University Soccer Stadium. ETSU entered the match 4-0-4 all-time against USC Upstate, but the Spartans got a goal in the 18th minute and extend their lead in the 54th to secure the victory.
