UNCG 4, Elon 1

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team prevailed 4-1 over the Elon Phoenix in a non-conference match on Tuesday night at UNCG Soccer Stadium. The win extended UNCG's unbeaten streak to nine games. The Spartans scored three of their four goals before there was 10 minutes elapsed in the match. UNCG was led by freshman Issah Haruna and sophomore Arnaud Tattevin, who each had a brace with one assist.

ETSU 3, Gardner-Webb 1

On a night where the Buccaneers honored their three seniors prior to the match, it was a freshman who stole the spotlight. Oliver Einarsson recorded a brace for his first collegiate goals, while sophomore midfielder Louie Salkeld tied the single-game program record with his three assists as ETSU cruised to a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb on a rainy Tuesday night at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

Furman 2, Presbyterian 0

Defender Slade Starnes assisted on a pair of Furman goals in the opening 14 minutes to propel the Paladins to a 2-0 victory over Presbyterian in non-conference men's soccer action Tuesday evening at Martin Stadium in Clinton, S.C.

Mercer 1 Georgia Southern 1

Mercer's Fernando Arteaga scored his first goal of the season just before halftime, but Georgia State was able to equalize late in the second half to end the match in a draw. The first half of play proved to be a defensive battle, with neither side able to put a shot on goal until the final minute of the period. Segun Afolabi took the first shot of the night in the sixth minute, and the Bears would put up six more before breaking through in the 44th minute.

Longwood 1, Wofford 0

The match started off slow for both teams, with neither team gaining traction early as the Terriers struggled to gain possession of the ball. In the 20th minute, a corner taken by Jakob Andersson found the leaping Bryce Peacock to put the ball on goal for Wofford's first shot of the night. The ball was quickly smothered by the keeper who was in the perfect position to save the shot. The first half would quickly turn into an offensive barrage with each team taking seven shots in the half. However, both defenses held firm as the first ended.
