Samford’s Sandeep Mohandoss named SoCon player of the week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford’s Sandeep Mohandoss has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for all competition from March 18-24. The selection is made by the league office.

In a 7-0 victory over Chattanooga on March 21, Mohandoss teamed up with Santiago Arredondo at the No. 2 doubles position to defeat Courtland Grove and Kristof Kincses, 6-4. At the No.1 singles spot, the Chennai, India, product defeated Jakob Jupa, 6-3, 6-2. This is his third player of the week designation this season.

Samford (14-4, 4-0 SoCon) will host UNCG on Saturday, March 29.
