Samford’s Sandeep Mohandoss named SoCon player of the week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford’s Sandeep Mohandoss has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for all competition from March 4-10. The selection is made by the league office.

In a 7-0 victory over Wofford on March 9, Mohandoss teamed up with Santiago Arredondo at the No. 2 doubles position to defeat Hugo Rask and Ian Rasheed, 6-0. At the No.1 singles spot, the Chennai, India, product defeated Robbie Young, 6-4, 6-3.

Samford (11-4, 2-0 SoCon) will travel to Furman on March 11, then to College of Charleston on March 13.
