East Tennessee State University women's basketball held on to take a 53-47 win at UNC Asheville on Tuesday. Freshman guard Carmen Richardson set a career high with 16 points and six rebounds. 5th year guard Courtney Moore also added 16, and junior forward Meghan Downing scored seven with ten rebounds.

No. 12 TCU 103, Samford 64

The Samford women's basketball team dropped a 103-64 decision at 12th-ranked TCU Tuesday evening at Schollmaier Arena. With the loss, Samford fell to 4-9 on the season. TCU improved its season record to 11-1 with the win. Samford was led in the loss by Sadie Stetson with 13 points. Emily Bowman and Claire Johnson added 10 points each for the Bulldogs
