Wednesday's Women's Basketball Roundup

Boise State 74, Furman 65

Furman battled back from a pair of 17-point first half deficits to take an early fourth quarter lead before falling to Boise State, 74-65, in Wednesday afternoon's opening round of the Husky Classic, played at the Alaska Airlines Arena on the campus of the University of Washington. The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for Furman (9-4), which will face host Washington on Thursday in a 5:00 p.m. ET matchup.

Duke 93, Wofford 58

Wofford shot 33.8 percent on the night (22-of-65) with seven threes made. Duke posted a 50.7 percent clip (34-of-67) with six triples. The Blue Devils won the glass 56-20 with a 19-5 offensive rebounding advantage. This led to an 18-0 second chance points advantage for Duke. However, Wofford claimed the turnover edge, forcing 16 while committing only 11. Wofford had one more steal, 8-7, and claimed a points off turnovers advantage, 14-10.
