Furman Remains in the Lead at the SoCon Women’s Golf Championship

Chattanooga in Second Place – 9 shots off the Pace

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Paladins continue to hold the lead at the 2025 Southern Conference Women’s Golf Championship, with Furman’s Audrey Ryu maintaining her spot atop the individual leaderboard after the second day of competition at the Solina Golf Club.  

Furman shot 17-over-par 305 during round two, besting second-place Chattanooga (15-over-par) by two strokes on the day. Ryu shot 4-over-par 76 and holds a four-shot lead heading into the final round.  

Mercer’s Mikayla Dubnik now sits alone in second after a 1-over-par 73 second round, for an overall score of 2-over-par 146. Western Carolina’s Elizabeth Lohbauer sits in third after a 1-under-par 71, bringing her two-day score to 3-over-par 147. Lohbauer was the only golfer that shot under par during round two. 

The Bears moved into third place after shooting a 15-over-par 303 in the second round to improve its overall score to 615. UNCG fell back two spots to fourth after shooting a 26-over-par 314. ETSU improved its performance on the course from the first day and sits in fifth place with a 619. Wofford fell two spots to sixth, with a 310 finish on the day.  

Samford, Western Carolina, and The Citadel, round out the field at seventh, eighth, and ninth, respectively. 

The final round of the championship will begin with threesomes at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Live stats can be found here
