SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNCG’s Sophie Lauture has been selected as the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 4-10. The selection is made by the league office and is the second one of the season.&nbsp;Lauture finished tied for third place on the player leaderboard at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, a three-day competition which concluded on Sept. 10. The native of Concord, North Carolina, posted rounds of 71-65-72 for a tournament score of five-under-par 208 in her first collegiate event. &nbsp;&nbsp;UNCG finished the Golfweek Fall Challenge third in the 18-team field with an 860 performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Spartans will travel to Greenville, North Carolina, at the end of the month to compete at Eastern Carolina’s Pirate Collegiate Classic. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
