ETSU’s Romero-Barba Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU women’s pole vaulter, Diana Romero-Barba, has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from April 3-9.  The selection is made by the conference office.
 
Romero-Barba competed at the Flames Invitational at Lee University in Tennessee on Friday, where she collected her fourth career gold medal in the pole vault after posting a personal best and meet record mark of 3.85 meters, which she cleared on her first attempt. The Tepatitlan de Morelos, Mexico, native currently leads the conference in the event.
 
The junior is majoring in finance and sports a 3.95 GPA.
