SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Campbell’s Taye Ghadiali has been selected as the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Nov. 13 – 19.&nbsp;&nbsp;It was announced on Nov. 6, that the defending SoCon Champion in the 285-weight class was selected to participate at the 2024 NWCA All-Star Classic on Nov. 16. The selection made Ghadiali the second Campbell wrestler to participate in the event.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ghadiali, who is ranked seventh in Intermat’s current rankings, defeated a familiar foe in Ohio State’s Nick Feldman by decision.&nbsp;Before the All-Star Classic matchup, the two met twice during the 2023-24 season, splitting the two meetings. SPARTANBURG, S.C. – VMI’s Braxton Lewis has been selected as the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Nov. 6 – 12. &nbsp;Lewis, a native of Suffolk, Viriginia, is currently 7-3 on the season. Lewis captured two dual wins at the Wranglemania Duals against Franklin &amp; Marshall and Sacred Heart, by pin and decision, respectively.&nbsp;Most recently, Lewis defeated a nationally-ranked, two-time All-American Cael Valencia from Arizona State by majority decision, winning 12-0 at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic. Lewis finished the event going 3-1. &nbsp;On Nov. 12, it was announced that Lewis received two national ranking recognitions following his season’s start.
