NCAA announces at-large selections for 2025 Division I Wrestling Championships

App State's Miller and Floyd, Bellarmine's Rallo, and Campbell's Denkins join group of SoCon representatives

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Four Southern Conference wrestlers were among the 46 at-large selections for the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, including App State’s Will Miller and Carson Floyd, Bellarmine’s AJ Rallo, and Campbell’s Wynton Denkins.  

  
Seventeen wrestlers from six of the nine SoCon schools will be represented at the 2025 tournament, which starts March 20. The Citadel leads the way with four representatives, App State, Campbell, and Chattanooga have three, while Bellarmine and Garnder-Webb each have two.  

 

Miller, Floyd, Rallo, and Denkins, join the 10 SoCon wrestling champions and the three who received additional allocations on the NCAA wrestling national stage. The at-large selections were made by the NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee using the following selection criteria: head-to-head competition, quality wins, results against common opponents, winning percentage, ratings percentage index, coaches ranking and conference tournament finish. 

Seeding and brackets for this year’s event will be revealed tomorrow, March 12, during the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Selection Show on NCAA.com at 8 p.m. ET.
