Wofford 6, Mercer 1
On Tuesday afternoon, the Wofford women's tennis team defeated Mercer 6-1 at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center to improve to 2-0 in Southern Conference play. The Terriers won the doubles point and then won five of the six singles matches. The Bears won the #2 doubles match 6-1 and then Breda Brennan and Lily Woods claimed a 6-1 win at the #1 doubles position. At #3 doubles, Brianna Wilbur and Chloe Elliott took a 3-1 lead and earned a 6-4 win to clinch the doubles point for the Terriers.
Chattanooga 7, St. Thomas 0
The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team earned a clean 7-0 home sweep over non-conference foe St. Thomas (MN) during Tuesday afternoon action at the UTC Tennis Center on campus. Chattanooga (9-7) concludes its non-conference slate for the season and finishes with victories in eight of the final nine matches outside of SoCon play. St. Thomas (MN) (6-8) drops its first-ever match against Chattanooga after Tuesday's meeting in the Scenic City.
