The 2014 Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship took place Sunday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 22, at the National Golf Club at Pinehurst. This was the 78th annual Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship. Georgia Southern held off Chattanooga to win the 2014 Men's Golf Championship title with a score of 873, edging the Mocs by one stroke. Western Carolina's J.T. Poston shot a 10-under-par 206 to claim medalist honors, while Chattanooga's Chris Robb finished two shots back at 208. The Eagles received the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The Catamounts' Poston aIso claimed a spot in NCAA postseason play.
