 </a> RELATED SPARTANBURG, SC -- The Southern Conference today announced its TIAA-CREF Academic All-Conference teams for the spring semester of 2003. A total of 202 student-athletes, representing all 12 Southern Conference institutions, and softball affiliate member UNC Wilmington, were named to the team. The 202 student-athletes averaged a .3542 grade point aveerage on a 4.0 scale. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have competed in at least one-half of their team </div>
