The Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship returned to the par-72, 7,118-yard Pinehurst No. 9 in Pinehurst, North Carolina, for the fifth straight season in 2018. UNCG weathered a wet day and a Chattanooga rally to claim a five-stroke win and its first Southern Conference Men’s Golf Championship title, while Spartan freshman Nick Lyerly earned medalist honors at 4-under-par 212 for the tournament.
