About the Championship

The 2011 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship took place on Friday, November 11 and Sunday, November 13 in Boone, N.C. The event was hosted by Appalachian State, at the ASU Soccer Stadium at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.This was the 24^th annual Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship.

The Quarterfinals (First Round) were hosted by the top four seeds, with the winners, UNCG, Appalachian State, Elon and Furman advancing to the Semifinals/Final in Boone, N.C.

The No. 1 seeded UNCG Spartans faced off against the No. 6 seeded Phoenix from Elon in the championship match. The highest scoring match of the tournament ended with Elon upsetting UNCG 3-2. The winner of the Men's Soccer Championship, Elon, received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Adult One Day Ticket: $5 Youth One Day Ticket: $3 Groups of 10 or more: $2 each

Students at Southern Conference institutions are admitted for free with a valid ID.
