About the Championship The 2013 Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships was held in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday, February 23rd and Sunday, February 24th. The event took place at the brand new JDL Fast Track facility. This will be the 78th annual Indoor Track Field Championship for the men and the 26th for the women. The 2013 Southern Conference men's champions were the Appalachian State Mountaineers with 175.50 points. The Samford Bulldogs finished in second with 174 points. Western Carolina came in third with 151.50 points. On the women's side, Western Carolina scored 149 points followed by Appalachian State with 143.50 points in the final standings. Samford finished in third with 139 points. | |||||

Directions to JDL Fast Track: From Interstate 40, take exit 189 for US-158/Stratford Road. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto US-158/Stratford Road. Proceed approximately 2 miles and turn left on Kimwell Drive. JDL Fast Track will be approximately 1/2 mile down on the corner of Kimwell and Empire. Spectator parking is in the front.
