The 2014 Southern Conference Wrestling Championship took place in Buies Creek, N.C., on Saturday, March 8. The 77th annual Southern Conference Wrestling Championship was hosted by Campbell University in the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center. Chattanooga won its fourth straight tournament title, accruing 88.0 points to top runner-up The Citadel (78.5). The host Camels finished in third with 54.0 points. Chattanooga's Corey Mock won the 165-pound title in a clash of ranked wrestlers, downing SoCon Wrestler of the Year Turtogtokh Luvsandorj of The Citadel in the final, to earn tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler honors. The Citadel's Rob Hjerling was named the SoCon Coach of the Year by his peers. Sixteen SoCon wrestlers earned NCAA bids at the SoCon Championship, including all 10 individual champions.
